The Gospel Choir, Anointed Voices and the Men of Zion at TMZ Baptist Church lift their voices in praise of God every Sunday during the morning worship services. The choirs sing chiefly for the glory of God, and so that worshipers will experience the power and beauty of God through music. Choirs have been leaders in corporate worship since the days of King David, and we seek to uphold this inheritance through our repertoire and through our commitment to excellence. We focus on the work of offering music as a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, but we are also a community that delights in fellowship and mutual encouragement. The choirs are made up of several members of various ages and are always looking for new singers. Contact the following individuals for more information.

The Gospel Choir
The members of the Gospel Choir represent various age groups. This choir enjoys learning and singing traditional and contemporary gospel and praise/worship music. Please note rehearsals are held every first and fourth Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

The Anointed Voices
The members of the Anointed Voices are mainly in the young adult age group. This choir enjoys learning and singing contemporary praise/worship music and up beat tempo Christian music. Please note rehearsals are held second Saturday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

The Men of Zion
The Men of Zion is made up of men representing various age groups. This choir enjoys learning and singing traditional and quartet style gospel music. Please note rehearsals are held every third Saturday from 9:30 – 11:30 am.

The Children of Zion
The Children of Zion is for children ages 3 – 12.  The children enjoy learning traditional, contemporary, pop and rap Christian music. Please note rehearsals are normally held every other Saturday at noon, but are often at the discretion of the director.

The TMZ Band
Featuring a variety of musical backgrounds, the TMZ Band members all share a desire for excellence in worship, and an eagerness to serve and enable the songs of the choirs and congregation. The Band heightens the worship of the morning services through their skillful playing. These active professional musicians frequently perform offertories, preludes, and postludes.
